Our Church Council
"Our Church Council members must be committed to Christ, His Church, and His Cause. They must maintain a close relationship with Jesus Christ, have a passion for reaching lost souls, and a desire to fulfill the Great Commission in and through ministries of our church and the world."
Elders
“Elders are both shepherds and overseers of the flock of God (Acts 20:17, 28; 1 Peter 5:1-4). Our denominational doctrinal statement says: (Elders) are ‘persons holding positions of greatest responsibility and authority in the local Church leadership.’”
Deacons
“The Deacons must exhibit sound judgment in financial affairs along with the ability to work with figures. They must exercise excellent ethics regarding individual giving among church members.”
Commission Chairpersons
Trustee Commission Chair: Randy Dyarman “Most of the duties of the Trustee and their team come about because of review and inspection of church buildings, equipment and maintenance of church property and cemetery. The Trustee should be a tradesman, if possible, and a person who is handy and knowledgeable in the use of tradesman tools and equipment.” |
Mission Commission Chair: Amy Piper “The Mission commission member and their team exist to partner with the church body, assisting and encouraging through prayer, guidance, and finances to be faithful to spread the good news about Jesus Christ through missions and ministries at home and abroad, in obedience to Matthew 28:19-20.” |
Christian Education Commission Chair: Deb Leidig “The Christian Education commission member must exhibit qualities of leadership and spiritual discernment to direct and oversee all educational activities of Christian Education. The commission includes two subcommittees: education and special programming.” |
